7 Arts Tamaioasa Romaneasca 2019, 75 cl
100% Tamaioasa Romaneasca
A legacy that was probably going to be lost in everyday indifference, a place that would certainly not have kept its identity if in 2009, 7artswinery had not revived an old plantation that belonged to the nobleman and politician Constantin Argetoianu.
7artswinery has rebuilt the old winery founded in the early sec. The winery has rebuilt the old winery from the 19th century and thus repositioned the Banu Maracine DOC on the Romanian wine map.
In order to obtain the quality they use exclusively grapes from their own plantation, they practice very low yields, harvesting is done manually in small batches, they sort the grapes both during harvesting and before destemming, they use the latest technology in winemaking and last but not least, for red wines they use exclusively barrels made of Romanian oak.
The 7ARTS vineyard enjoys the soil representative for the three varieties of white grapes, Sauvignon Blanc, Feteasca Alba and Tamaioasa Romaneasca, from the Oltenia Hills region, which inspires and encourages them to make balanced and elegant wines, created using modern techniques, which bring a pleasant breeze to the taste buds. The quality of the grapes is due in particular to the uniform ripening, the grapes being bathed by the sun throughout the day due to the north-south disposition. Rigorous sorting, destemming without crushing, pneumatic pressing and fermentation in stainless steel vats at low temperature have contributed equally to the preservation of the aromatic profile specific to each variety: .
